Writing – Day 4

Managed to make another nice dent in my word count and got a good start on the first scene in the third chapter of the book.  This is the scene where the Hero and Heroine “officially” meet for the first time even though they have seen each other before.  I am sure that I am going to have to rewrite this one a few times to get it right because it is such an important scene in the book.  Should it come a little earlier?  Maybe, but it fits too perfectly where it is now.

Oh, and my villain went and killed more people without my consent.  Next thing I knew we had another crime scene on our hands and I was not even expecting it.  I guess that is what happens when you let the characters run loose and tell their story.

At the end of the day my word count stood at 5659.
