About
Basic Information
Angelique “Angie” Mroczka was born in February 1982 in Anchorage, Alaska. She is the oldest of three exceptionally talented daughters. With her father in the oil business, the family moved to Lafayette, Louisiana before finally settling in Houston, Texas.
Angie attended both junior high and high school in Houston before being accepted at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Big college life was not for her so she left the university after one semester. Back at home in Houston she worked full time as a technical writer and attended Community College. She received her Associate’s Degree in August 2002. Returning to school has not worked out for Angelique in the past, but she hopes to return soon to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design.
Angie currently resides in Houston with her husband Scott and their two dogs, Hunter and Evy.
Artist Information
In 2004 Angie purchased a copy PaintShop Pro 8 to begin creating her own graphics for her small web design business. Through online tutorials and practice she learned how to use the software, creating a strong foundation for her future art career. Later that year she was introduced to 3-dimensional graphics using Poser. Since then she has had her artwork published countless times, including book covers and in webzines.
Using a combination of computer-based tools, Angie now creates fantasy artwork for her art business, Angelique Art Studios. The company, formed in January 2009, is small, but her works of art are starting to draw attention as the word gets out and people start seeing more of her work.

Craft Information
Angie officially came to the Pagan path in mid-2004 while she was going through a difficult time in her life. Her husband Scott was actually her first mentor before they were married. Scott came from a “magickal” family that embraced hereditary witchcraft.
While they were engaged, Scott and Angie looked for a Pagan organization that emphasized family practice. During their search they found Lydia “Dia” Crabtree and the Family Wiccan Traditions International. It was then that their Family Coven, Family of the Healing Waters, was formed.
After less than a year in the program, Dia asked Angie to join the growing organization’s Board of Directors to serve as the Web Communications Weaver. She also began studying in the tradition’s Degree Seeker program, studying under Rev. Crystal Blanton and the Family of the Rising Phoenix. Currently Angie is still working towards completion in the program and mentoring one student.
As part of her studies Angie has been writing and offering workshops locally at The Spirit Quest Center in Spring, Texas. She looks forward to writing and offering more of these courses, maybe bringing some of the courses to an online medium from this website.

Angie first started designing websites while in high school in 1998. The programs and technology have changed quite a bit since then, but she tries to stay up-to-date with the latest trends.
Now Angie both designs and hosts personal websites, business sites, online stores and non-profit organization sites. She writes both HTML and CSS and has quite a bit of experience setting up websites with open source programs such as phpNuke, phpBB, Word Press, Joomla and Xoops. She can also create original or modify exisiting templates in most of these programs.
