Sometimes we get swamped in the muchness of all else we do and of all we are to others and we just take a seat at the side of the spiritual path for a bit, a layover of sorts, in which we wait for the next leg of our journey. Your muchness of self and spirit will return, renewed, refreshed and ready to step forward, no matter which way the road turns.

Try not to feel too negative. As occurs with the physical, the ever present spiritual flow and ebb of the world can sometimes produce a becalmed area of inactivity, known to some as the doldrums. While some look on the doldrums in a negative way, (as a place of inactivity and stagnation), try to look on it as the opportunity it is! The doldrums are, after all, areas of tranquil calm, so let the current take you where it will as you take the un-hurried opportunity to reassess your goals and priorities.
In time, the winds will return to fill your sails again, by which time you will know your true course.

I think this is a testament to how we evolve and change. Right now it is not at the forefront when perhaps it was before and may be again one day. You are exactly where you need to be.

Maybe you are just at the bottom loop of a muchness spiral. Perhaps your spirituality is in its winter season, gathering energy in the dark, ready to send up a tender shoot come spring when you have the physical, emotional, and spiritual resources to help it grow and bud and blossom. <3
